I
have always been called by my middle name, Mary.
After almost 32 years working for the Federal government
in both the legislative and executive branches, I retired at the end of
2002 to pursue my long-held goal of starting my own genealogical research
business.
I have been actively researching my own family
and those of many friends since the mid-1980’s. Over those years,
I have helped many DAR applicants with their lineage research to prove
their descent from a Revolutionary War patriot. In addition, I serve
as a Volunteer Genealogist for the DAR.
In 1993, I completed the 18 month-long National
Genealogical Society’s Home Study Course (now known as “A Basic Course”).
I attended the National Institute for Genealogical Research at the National
Archives in Washington, DC in 2000. In 1980, I received a Masters
Degree in Public Administration from George Washington University, Washington,
DC.
I am a member of:
As a member of National Genealogical Society and Association
of Professional Genealogists, I adhere to the research and ethical standards
of both organizations.
